'Arry Pottah!
This spot illustration appears in the Movie Review section of the New Yorker that hit stands Monday, July 18, 2011.
I happened to be listening to the audio book of the Deathly Hallows when I got the call, so it was fairly lucky timing on my part to take on the job.
Here are my sketches. The main focus on this film is the conflict of Harry and Voldemort, so I decided to leave out secondary and tertiary characters. Here is a link to the review: http://tinyurl.com/69modbk

Hey John, it's too far back to remember specifically, but I usually get between 2-3 days for a New Yorker spot.
