Unblogged '09

The end of the decade is upon us -- WHAT?!? It seems like only yesterday I started stockpiling food, firearms, and gasoline in anticipation of the implosion of life-as-we-know-it called Y2K.
Well anyway, here are some pictures I did last year, but never blogged about. Perhaps I'll go more in-depth about some of them later. At any rate, I've got some really cool pieces I can't wait to show off in the coming months.

Best of luck 2010!

Frank

Awesome work, love your illustration style. Looks like you busted your blog though.

Woah you're right, there was something wrong with it. Seems to be working fine now, though.

Always great work!

Did you ever post the finished tiger-and-octopus piece you were working on a couple of months back?

ugh--such sweet consistent work. The last one shows some interesting inspiration. Can't wait to see this new work you speak of.

Thanks, guys! I really like the burger, too. I didn't put up anything that I don't like, actually.

the last piece was a commission/christmas present for my aunt to give to her husband. It's watercolor and india ink with gouache over the top in spots. I like this approach for doing work to be seen in person.

Thanks for reading,

frank
p.s. I put a bullet in the brain of both the tiger and the octopus, as I stopped liking them. Maybe they'll come back in the future.
